Cafe de Mujeres

$20.00

Cafe de Mujeres is a gem. We're liking the bright citrus flavors that go hand in hand with some stone fruit and a nice round nuttiness.
Not only is this a wonderfully balanced coffee, it's grown by women coffee farmers.
The 212 Chiapas-area women growers who contributed coffee to this lot work just 1.8 hectares of land on average. They are smallholders, but they are united in their effort to eliminate gender inequality and expand economic opportunities for women in Mexico.
This Strictly High Grown (SHG) unroasted coffee blends Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuai varietals. The coffee cherries were hand-depulped, fermented in small tanks and fully sundried.
We're enjoying it in the fall weather while we wait for the cold to settle in.
